Our History
Engaged Nursing Care (ENC) has been providing exceptional care for patients with catastophic injuries since opening in 2018, but our experience goes far beyond that, from our owner to our entire staff. We're dedicated to always putting the needs of our residents first.
Private-Duty Nursing Care
What is Private Duty Nursing? Unlike traditional in-home care services, private duty nurses provide one-on-one medical care. They are qualified to offer this care in the comfort of the patient's own home, or in a facility such as a hospital or nursing home.
24/7 Care
Our priority is making sure our patients and families have access to on-call support any time you need it – 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including weekends and holidays.
Our Services
We offer a wide range of services including skilled nursing care, physical therapy and occupational therapy. Our staff is trained to provide personalized care to meet the unique needs of each resident. Our private duty nurses provide one-on-one care tailored to a patient's unique healthcare conditions and treatment plans.
Private duty nursing (PDN) allows medically fragile patients to receive quality, skilled nursing care in the comfort of their home: a setting preferred by most patients and their families. Studies show it is less expensive than a facility stay, costing up to half as much as a single hospital day.
Value-based approach to skilled and personalized care
We are dedicated to providing compassionate patient care and top-notch customer service by hiring experienced healthcare professionals. All of our nurses are fully screened and credentialed, and have experience providing care for patients with a variety of conditions. We provide:
- Ventilator and tracheostomy care
- G-tube care and management
- Diabetes management
- Seizure management
- Oxygen management
- TPN infusion
- Administering medications and therapies
In addition to these services, our nurses will communicate any changes in patient condition to the office and physicians, reinforce education provided by hospital staff, promote education in the home, coordinate home medical equipment and supplies and assist with appointments. They can also help with personal care and meal preparation.
